The Castine Community Hospital Corporation is saddened by Northern Light's decision to move care from Castine to Blue Hill. In the coming week, we will meet as a board to discuss ways to ensure the future of physician-directed care for Castine, Penobscot, Orland, Brooksville, and the surrounding area. We remain committed to our mission and will update the community for consultation as our plans develop.
