What's Happening Now?

April 21
To date we have done the following:

  1. We have filed with the Secretary of State the Certificate of Formation for a nonprofit subsidiary of CCHC through which the DPC would run. This will be called the Castine Primary Care Clinic, CPCC.4.
  2. With our attorneys, we are reviewing the operating document for this subsidiary.
  3. We are in conversation with a physician whom we hope will be the primary provider.
  4. We are working on proforma budgets to determine what this will cost CCHC.
  5. We are reviewing the specific services which will be provided at this clinic.
  6. We are also trying to look forward - to consider what other services might subsequently be housed in our clinic (physical therapy, behavioral health, dental services, etc.)

April 1
As part of our previously mentioned final legal matters, Castine Community Hospital Corporation filed with Maine's Secretary of State for a Certificate Of Formation which will establish our new healthcare facility to be known as Castine Community Primary Care Clinic.

March 18
The last of the legal matters are being addressed paving the way for our community's new primary care practice.
